Model Railway Detailing & Respray Service

Have you got a OO gauge locomotive that you would like to have as a different livery and/or number? Perhaps you would like your model to be more detailed and look more like the real thing, but you don’t have the time or equipment to make your wish come true? Steve Dexter may be able to provide you with the answer! Steve specialises in the respray and detailing of OO gauge diesel locomotives. And any orders placed using the form on this website will see a donation made to the upkeep and restoration of 45132!

Any OO gauge models (including steam) can be customised to your requirements, including resprays, weathering, detailing, renumbering, nameplates, conversions, fitting of DCC decoders and sound, fitting of lighting kits – the list goes on! He can also undertake repairs and servicing of your locos.

You can either provide the base model, or ask Steve to source a new or second-hand one on your behalf. Examples of pricing are as follows:

•  Respray in BR blue with full yellow ends, transfers and varnish - £40

• Supply and fit DCC decoder - £25

• Fitting of lighting kit - £20

• Chassis detailing (including pipes/ETH on bufferbeams and dummy screw link at one end) - £25

• Supply and fitting of nameplates - £15
