It's been a while since we've had some real progress to report on the state of the main generator for 45132.
The company in charge of the repairs, have recently informed us that our generator is not far off from being complete and could be back with us at North Weald at some point early into the new year (no guaranteed time frame yet, but we're hoping for at least January/February).
Machining on the armature shaft has now been done and a rebuild along with a testing faze will take place after the new year, when the machinist in charge returns from their festive break.
We here in Team 45 eagerly await its return and have the skillset needed to reinstall it to its rightful place within 45132, unfortunately we don't have any new photos to share (at the time of writing), but we looking forward to, hopefully, receive some.
